Vic Miscampbell from Queensland, Australia shows how they do Ultra Sports in the southern hemisphere. The yellow US1000 in the first picture is over 12 years old and built by his now deceased friend. It had many hundreds of flights using ST2000 and ST2500 powerplants. A year ago Vic rebuilt it changing it to a tail dragger and giving it a new look with Koverall covering and paint job. The result...powered with an ST3000...is in the 2nd picture. The US40 in the bones was scratch built from the GP plans.

Matt Remchuk sent these photos of his Ultra Sport 60 built from a Great Planes kit during the mid 90s. Powered by an MVVS .77 w/Macs pipe it has more flights on it than Matt dares to guess. Matt is currently finishing up an Ultra Sport 1000 powered by an OS 120 Supercharged engine

Robert Lancaster bought these two Ultra Sports from other modelers. The red and white US60 has an OS 61 SF with a pitts muffler and that cowl with the air scoop sure gives it a different look. The US40 sports a blue and yellow Blue Angels scheme and looks very sharp. I bet they fly great too.
